At ChatMai, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated messaging data at any time. This page explains the data we store and how to request its deletion.

When you use ChatMai, we collect and store the following information:
- person Account Information: Your name, email address, and login credentials
- share Platform Connections: Connected platform tokens, page/shop IDs for Facebook, LINE, Instagram, Shopee, Lazada, TikTok
- chat Conversation History: Synced messages, conversation threads, and customer interactions
- shopping_cart Order Data: Linked order information, tracking details, and transaction references
- group Team Data: Team member profiles, chat assignments, and internal notes
- analytics Analytics Data: Response time metrics, team performance data, and usage logs
delete How to Delete Your Data
You have two options to delete your data:
settings Option 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
Delete your ChatMai account directly from your dashboard:
- 1 Log in to your ChatMai account
- 2 Navigate to Settings > Account
- 3 Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- 4 Click "Delete Account" and confirm to complete the process
mail Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account or prefer assistance:
- 1 Send an email to [email protected]
- 2 Use the subject line: "ChatMai Data Deletion Request"
- 3 Include the email address associated with your ChatMai account
- 4 We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days
warning What Gets Deleted
When you delete your ChatMai account, the following data will be permanently removed:

- delete_foreverAll connected platform tokens and access credentials
- delete_foreverAll team member data and chat assignments
- delete_foreverAll quick replies, templates, and auto-reply configurations
- delete_foreverAll analytics data and performance reports
- delete_foreverAll order references and customer notes
error This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Messages already on third-party platforms will remain on those platforms.
schedule Data Retention Timeline
- Self-service deletion: Data is removed immediately upon confirmation
- Email requests: Processed within 30 days of verification
- Backup systems: Data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days
- Legal requirements: Some data may be retained if required by law
