AI Facebook posts in your Page's own voice: how ContentVelo learns the way you write

An AI post can be well written and still not sound like you. This guide explains what ContentVelo reads from your Page, how to check the brand profile it builds, which of its two writing modes to choose, and how to review a post before it goes out.

Why AI posts often don't sound like your Page

Ask a general AI tool for a Facebook post and you usually get something tidy and polite that could belong to any business. Your followers know how your Page talks: whether you write like a friend or like a shop counter, the emoji you always use, the way you sign off. A post that misses those habits reads as if someone else wrote it.

The problem is less the tool than what it knows. Without your past posts and your business details, it can only guess. ContentVelo starts by giving the model that information, and by letting you check it first.

What ContentVelo reads from your past posts

When you connect a Facebook Page, ContentVelo analyses the posts already published there and records:

  • Tone: how the Page sounds, for example friendly, witty or professional.
  • Writing style: for example conversational, formal or storytelling.
  • Recurring words: the terms and phrases you come back to.
  • Hashtags: the ones you actually use.
  • Emoji: how much you use them, and how.
  • Length: how long your posts usually run.

The analysis summarises these habits and becomes the starting point of the brand profile in the next step.

Read and correct your brand profile

The analysis fills in a brand profile for the Page. You can read the whole profile and change any part of it before a single post is written. It covers:

  • Your industry, a description of the business and the audience you want to reach.
  • Tone of voice and writing style, plus the keywords and hashtags you prefer.
  • Topics to avoid, and your own instructions for the AI, such as a regional dialect or a phrase you always use.
  • Your brand colours and logo.

Treat the analysis as a draft and read it the way you would read a new colleague's notes. If it calls your Page formal and you want it to sound relaxed, change it. If there is a subject you never post about, add it to the topics to avoid. What you correct here applies to every post written for the Page from then on, so it is worth a few minutes.

Your Page Style and ContentVelo Style

Your Page Style

Uses your brand profile and also gives the model real posts from your Page as style examples. The examples shape how the post sounds, not what it is about, so the result stays closer to the way you usually write.

ContentVelo Style

Uses your brand profile without past-post examples. The tone, audience and preferences you set still apply, but the writing is less bound to your earlier posts, so you get more variety.

You choose the mode each time you create a post, so you can use both on the same Page.

Which mode to choose, and when

Choose Your Page Style when…

your Page already has a voice your followers recognise, and you want new posts to sit naturally beside the old ones: regular updates, menus or shop announcements.

Choose ContentVelo Style when…

your Page has only a few posts, your older posts no longer sound the way you want, or you want a fresh angle for a campaign or a new product.

If you are unsure, start with Your Page Style, read the result, then try the other mode on the same topic and compare. A post you create yourself stays a draft until you publish or schedule it.

Give the post something real to say

A voice needs a subject. If you keep a products and services catalogue in ContentVelo, each entry holds the item's name, description, price and reference photos. Choose an entry when you create a post, and the post is written about that item, with its own photo as the reference for the advertisement image.

That way the post starts from the details you entered rather than from the AI's guesses, though you should still check names and prices in the draft. When something changes, update the catalogue entry and new posts will use it. Every generated post also comes with an advertisement image; the styles and formats are covered on the AI Images page.

Review every post before it goes out

A post you create yourself arrives as a draft. Before it reaches your Page you can:

  1. Read it aloud and rewrite any line that does not sound like you.
  2. Preview how it will look on Facebook.
  3. Publish it now, schedule it on the calendar, or keep it as a draft.

If you would rather not approve each post, AutoPilot can choose topics, write, compose the image and publish on the schedule you set, using the same brand profile. The scheduling guide compares the two approaches.

What to expect, and what not to

  • ContentVelo writes for and publishes to Facebook Pages only.
  • It does not predict how a post will perform before it is published.
  • The voice can only be as accurate as the brand profile, so review the profile and keep it current.
  • Paid plans cover regular Page management subject to fair use, not unlimited generation. What is included depends on your plan.
